Unfortunately due to the global pandemic we had to decide to skip our Trick-or-Eat that we did last year. However, we decided to do a Forestry Sector based food drive to help support Feed Nova Scotia & other local food banks.
Thanks to the caring people that work in this sector we were able to donate over $2000 worth of non-perishable food items, health care products, and frozen turkeys as well as $3500 to the Better Together Family Resource Center here in Bridgewater. As well as more non-perishable food donations made by Freeman Lumber & J.A. Turner and Sons to food banks local to their mills.
